Zerodol-P Tablet (Aceclofenac 100mg / Paracetamol 325mg)

Zerodol-P (500/100 mg) Tablet is a combination of Paracetamol and Aceclofenac. It is used to relieve pain in conditions like headache, mild migraines, muscle pain, joint pain, tooth pain, menstrual pain, ankylosing spondylitis (pain due to fusing of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (body’s immunity attacks the joints and damages it).

Zerodol-P (500/100 mg) Tablet shows some side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive vehicles or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it.

Zerodol-P (500/100 mg) Tablet can be taken with food, milk, or an antacid to avoid stomach irritation. For the ease of remembering, take it at around the same time every day. Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet relieves pain and swelling due to arthritic conditions but does not cure it.

Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet has to be taken with caution if you have peptic ulcers or any medical conditions of your liver and kidney. Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet may interact with alcohol, and you may see an increase in the side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and stomach bleeding.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing Spondylitis is a kind of arthritis that mainly affects the spine causing the small bones of your spinal cord to fuse together. This leads to inflammation, pain and deformity, and a decrease in the flexibility of your spine. Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet is used to relieve stiffness and pain (especially in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) associated with ankylosing spondylitis.

Mild to Moderate pain

Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet is used to relieve pain and swelling in conditions like back pain, earache, throat pain, toothache, stomach pain during periods, and muscle injury.

Dysmenorrhoea

Dysmenorrhoea or painful periods is a throbbing, aching cramp or pain that you get in your lower belly just before and during your periods. Most of the women who menstruate may experience this pain for 1-2 days each month. Normally, the pain is mild, but for some women, the pain can be severe. Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet is used for the treatment of muscle cramps and pain during periods.

Allergy

Avoid taking Zerodol-P (500/100 mg) Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulties, etc.

Kidney failure

Anaemia

Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet should be used with caution if you have anaemia due to the increased risk of worsening of your condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on your clinical condition.

Bleeding disorders

Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet may prolong the blood clotting time and therefore increase the risk of bleeding. Use it cautiously if there are bleeding or clotting defects such as haemophilia (a disorder in which blood does not clot normally), Vitamin K deficiency, and hypoprothrombinemia (deficiency of blood clotting substance Prothrombin).

Missed Dose

If you missed a dose of Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet take it as soon as you remember. Do not add it with your next dose to make up for a missed dose.

Overdose

Asthma

Gastro-Intestinal toxicity

Any symptom indicating ulceration and bleeding like indigestion, the appearance of dry blood in stools or vomiting of blood should be reported to your doctor immediately.

Heart Disease

Prolonged use of Zerodol P (500/100 mg) Tablet is known to increase the risk of heart attack and stroke (reduced blood supply to your brain) in individuals with heart problems. Hence caution should be maintained.
