Emanzen-D Tablet

Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet is a combination of Diclofenac and Serratiopeptidase. It is used as a pain reliever in the treatment of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (pain and swelling in the small joints), ankylosing spondylitis (fusion of small bones in your spine), and osteoarthritis (wearing off of the flexible tissues at the ends of your bones). It is also used to treat migraine headaches and other mild to moderate pain (muscle pain, menstrual pain, backache, toothache, earache, and throat pain). Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet works by blocking the release of prostaglandin (a chemical substance responsible for causing pain and swelling).

Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet has some side effects like stomach pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, indigestion, and heartburn. However, these side effects can be prevented by taking the medication with milk or a meal. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Alcohol intake is not recommended as it may result in side effects such as dizziness and stomach and/or intestinal bleeding.

Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet should be taken as per the instructions given by your doctor.

Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use if you have peptic ulcer(s) or have undergone bypass surgery. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding, high blood pressure, or any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Also, inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking since they may affect or be affected by this medication.

Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet is unsafe for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Hence, consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.

Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing Spondylitis is a medical condition affecting the small bones of your spine causing them to fuse. Back and joint pain, decrease in spine flexibility and postural problems are the symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis. Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet reduces pain and swelling associated with such conditions.
Dysmenorrhea

Mild to Moderate pain
Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet successfully relieves mild to moderate back pain, earache, throat pain, and toothache by preventing the release of chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain.
Migraine
Migraine is a headache with different degrees of severity that is frequently accompanied by nausea and sensitivity to light and sound. Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet prevents the release of chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain.
Bursitis
Bursitis is a painful condition that affects the bursae ( small, fluid-filled sacs that cushion the bones, tendons, and muscles surrounding your joints). Tendinitis

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid taking Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have a known allergy to any of the contents of this medicine or if you experience any symptoms such as a skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face, lips, tongue, and throat), difficulty in breathing, etc. seek immediate medical attention.
Peptic Ulcer
A peptic ulcer is an open sore that occurs on the inner lining of the stomach and the upper region of the small intestine. Stomach pain is the most common symptom of a peptic ulcer. Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use in patients with peptic ulcers as this medicine can worsen your symptoms. Inform your doctor if you have a history of ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)
Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery is a surgical procedure that increases blood flow to the heart. Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use in such patients as it may increase the chances of heart attack or stroke.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you have forgotten to take Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet at a scheduled time, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for your next dose, skip the dose. Avoid taking two doses together at once to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Seek emergency medical treatment in case you suspect an overdose of Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet

General Instructions

Take Emanzen-D (50/10 mg) Tablet exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
Avoid larger or smaller amounts, or for a longer period of time than recommended. To reduce the risk of stomach discomfort, take this medication with or after food.
This medicine may cause dizziness and drowsiness.
If you encounter any side effects that persist or worsen, contact your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function and levels of blood components if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment.
