Thioford AP Tablet

Thioford-AP Tablet is a combination of Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Thiocolchicoside. This medicine is a painkiller that helps in relieving mild to moderate pain associated with muscle spasms such as lower back pain, neck pain, sprains/strains, etc.

Thioford-AP Tablet works by blocking the formation of certain chemical substances responsible for pain and swelling. It also blocks pain receptors in your brain that induce pain. This medicine is most effective when taken along with proper rest and physical therapy.

Thioford-AP Tablet has some common side effects such as are nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Seek a doctor’s consultation if these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse. It is recommended not to use this medicine if you have been allergic to it.

When not to use?

Allergy

Kidney Disease
Thioford Tablet is not recommended for use if you are having kidney problems associated with the excessive use of painkillers.

Bleeding disorder

Bleeding disorders

Use in Elderly

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you have missed Thioford-AP Tablet dose, make sure that you remember to take the next dose on time. Do not take two doses together to make up for a forgotten dose.
Overdose
Never take Thioford-AP Tablet more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you have taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the emergency department of your local hospital.
