What is it prescribed for?
Muscle spasm with acute pain
This medicine is used to relieve painful muscle contractions (spasms).
Osteoarthritis
This medicine is used to treat symptoms like tender and painful joints associated with Osteoarthritis.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
This medicine is used to treat symptoms like swelling, pain, and stiffness of joints associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Mild to Moderate pain
This medicine is used to provide temporary relief of pain associated with low back pain, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.

When not to use?

Allergy
Etova-MR Forte 400/8  medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to etodolac, any other NSAIDs, thiocolchicoside, or any other inactive ingredient present along with these medicines.
Asthma
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with asthma caused by aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs since it may worsen the patient’s condition.
Gastrointestinal disorders
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding disorders or active peptic ulcers since it may worsen the patient’s condition.
Heart surgery
This medicine is not recommended for use in relieving pain before or after a heart surgery due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

Dosage

Missed Dose
The missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
