Ziltax Tablet is an antihypertensive medication that is used to treat high blood pressure. Ziltax Tablet contains azilsartan as an active ingredient. The dose and duration of this medicine will be decided by your doctor after careful assessment of your health condition. To get maximum benefits along with medication, you should maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. Before initiating the treatment, inform the doctor about your detailed medical history. This medicine is not recommended for use during pregnancy and the medicine must be discontinued if pregnancy is detected.

Contraindications of Ziltax 40 MG

If you are allergic to azilsartan or any ingredients of Ziltax Tablet.
If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, treatment should be discontinued if pregnancy is detected.
If you have diabetes or kidney-related disorders and taking medicines for high blood pressure like aliskiren.

How Does It Work?
Angiotensin II is a substance produced in the body which causes the narrowing of blood vessels. This leads to an increase in blood pressure. Ziltax Tablet prevents the binding of Angiotensin II to its receptors, thus causing the blood vessels to relax and lowers the blood pressure.

Directions for Use of Ziltax 40 MG

Ziltax Tablet is to be taken as a whole with an adequate amount of water. This tablet can be taken with or without food.
It is recommended to take the tablet at the same time every day for better blood pressure control.
