Description

Zaha 10 MG Ointment is an antibiotic used to treat conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye. Conjunctivitis is the swelling or infection of the transparent membrane that lines your eyelid and eyeball. This medicine works by blocking the formation of proteins required for bacterial growth, thus reducing infection. This medicine is only effective for bacterial infections.

Zaha 10 MG Ointment may cause some common side effects such as eye irritation, redness, discharge etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Avoid activities like driving vehicles and operating machines as this medicine may make your vision blurry.

Zaha 10 MG Ointment is taken as prescribed by your doctor. Your dose will depend on the severity of your condition. Bacterial conjunctivitis
Bacterial conjunctivitis or pink eye is a bacterial eye infection affecting the conjunctiva (a clear tissue covering the white part of your eye and lines the inside of the eyelid). This infection can easily spread by direct or indirect contact with an infected person. It is more common in children and can be treated quickly in a couple of days. Zaha 10 MG Ointment is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.

When not to use?

Allergy
Zaha 10 MG Ointment is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, swelling and/or itching (especially on your face, lips, throat), breathing difficulty, etc.

Warnings

Use in children

Antibiotic resistance
Finish your entire course of treatment with Zaha 10 MG Ointment, even if the condition gets better to avoid antibiotic resistance. If you still feel ill after completing your antibiotic course, consult your doctor.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Try not to skip a dose of Zaha 10 MG Ointment. If a dose is skipped, do not add it up to the next dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical attention in case of an overdose with Zaha 10 MG Ointment.

Interactions

General Instructions
Zaha 10 MG Ointment is for external use only. Administer it as directed by the doctor. Do not touch your eyes with unwashed hands.

Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the tube close to the eye with the tip facing downwards and squeeze it. Close eyes for 2 to 3 minutes.

Avoid sharing items like eyeglasses, contact lenses, pillows, towels, clothes, eye or face makeup when you are infected. Ensure that the treatment course is completed.

Report any severe undesired side effects or a lack of improvement to your doctor immediately.
