Description

Lulizol Cream is an antifungal medicine. It is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete’s foot (itchy, scaly, and white patches on the feet and between the toes), jock itch (red and itchy rashes in warm and moist areas of the body), ringworm (red, itchy, and circular-shaped rashes with clear skin in the middle affecting the skin, scalp, or nails affecting different parts of the body), etc. It works by killing the fungi by damaging its cell membrane (protective covering). Thus, it prevents the spread of fungal infections.

Lulizol Cream may cause some side effects like burning sensation, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. These symptoms last only for a few days and disappear with time. Consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve by themselves or worsen. Do not use this cream if you are allergic to it.

Lulizol Cream is for external use only. Use it regularly as directed by your doctor. Wash and dry the affected area before application. Spread a thin layer of the cream over the affected area. Do not cover with bandages unless directed by your doctor. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. In case it comes in contact with such areas, rinse with plenty of water. Your skin condition will improve in one to two weeks of application. If you do not see any improvement, consult your doctor.

Lulizol Cream may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor about all your health problems and the ongoing medications. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

You may get this infection by coming in contact with infected skin or contaminated surfaces such as towels, shoes, etc. This condition is common in people whose feet become sweaty while using tight-fitting shoes. Lulizol Cream is used in the treatment of Tinea pedis.
Tinea Cruris
Tinea cruris or jock itch is a fungal infection on the moist and warm areas of the body like the genitals, inner thighs, and buttocks. The rashes may burn or feel itchy, and your skin may be flaky or scaly. Lulizol Cream is used in the treatment of this infection.
Tinea Corporis
Tinea corporis or ringworm is a rash on the skin caused by a fungal infection. It is known as ringworm because it appears like a small, ring- or circle-shaped rash that may affect any part of your body. Lulizol Cream is used in the treatment of this skin infection.

When not to use?

Allergy
Lulizol Cream is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.

Pregnancy

Dosage

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose of Lulizol Cream as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
An overdose of Lulizol Cream is not likely to cause severe symptoms unless it is applied for a prolonged period in large quantities. However, the ingestion of this medicine may cause harm and immediate medical intervention may be required.

General Instructions

Apply a thin film of the Lulizol Cream to the affected area as instructed by your doctor. Wash and dry the affected area before application.

Complete the course of treatment even if your symptoms begin to improve a few days to prevent the risk of re-infection.

Do not use a bandage or dressing to cover the affected area unless directed by your doctor.

Keep your feet clean and dry, particularly between the toes. Cut your nails short and prefer open-toe shoes for everyday use. Use a separate clean towel for the feet and wear clean cotton socks. Never share your socks, shoes, and towel with others.
