Description

Deletus Pearls Capsule is a combination of Chlorpheniramine, Dextromethorphan and Phenylephrine. It is used to treat dry cough associated with the common cold. It also treats the symptoms of allergic reactions of the respiratory system such as sneezing, runny nose, stuffy nose, watery eyes, throat irritation and chest congestion.

Deletus Pearls Capsule show some common side effects like headache, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting. This medicine may also cause sleepiness or dizziness. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel sleepy or dizzy while taking this medicine. Avoid alcohol consumption during the therapy as it may alleviate sleepiness or dizziness. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it.

Deletus Pearls Capsule can be taken with or without food. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop the treatment early, your symptoms may come back, and your condition may worsen.

Deletus Pearls Capsule may be used to treat dry cough. This medicine also relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis like a runny nose, sneezing, red and itchy eyes, etc.

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid taking Deletus Pearls Capsule if you are allergic to it. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness and breathing difficulties, etc.
Benign prostatic hyperplasia
Deletus Pearls Capsule is not recommended for use if you have benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlargement of the prostate gland that is present below the urinary bladder in men) as it may worsen the condition.
Hypertension
Deletus Pearls Capsule is not recommended for use if you have severe hypertension (increased blood pressure) as it may increase the blood pressure and worsen the medical condition.
Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)
Deletus Pearls Capsule is not recommended for use in those who have stopped taking MAOI (medicines used to treat depression) not more than 2 weeks before taking this. Deletus Pearls Capsule may cause a severe increase in blood pressure in such a case and may lead to organ damage.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you missed a Deletus Pearls Capsule dose, make sure that you remember to take your next dose when it is due. Do not take two doses together to make up for a forgotten dose.
Overdose
Never take Deletus Pearls Capsule more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the emergency department of your local hospital.

General Instructions

Deletus Pearls Capsule can be taken with or without food.
It is usually taken only for a short time until the symptoms clear up.
Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
Stop taking this medicine and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, a rash or a persistent headache.
Do not crush, break or chew the capsule in your mouth.a
