Uses of Cartinex 500 Mg Tablet
What is it prescribed for?
Angina Pectoris
This medicine is used for the treatment of chronic angina pectoris (severe chest pain) caused due to reduced flow of blood and oxygen to the heart. It is not recommended as first-line therapy for treating acute angina attacks

When not to use?

Severe liver disease
This medicine is contraindicated in patients suffering from kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
Drug interaction
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients receiving strong CYP3A inhibitors like ketoconazole, clarithromycin, nelfinavir, and CYP3A inducers like carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin, etc. due to the increased risk of worsening severe adverse effects.
Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of allergy to ranolazine or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

Dosage

Missed Dose
