Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children belongs to the group of medications called ‘stimulant laxatives’ used to treat constipation. Dulcoflex 5mg Suppository for Children helps by increasing intestinal movements, thereby facilitating stool passage. It is also used to clean out the intestines before a bowel surgery or examination.

Take the tablet form of Dulcoflex Suppository once a day just before bedtime with food or an empty stomach. Do not have milk, antacids or medicines to reduce stomach acid (like pantoprazole) at the same time you are taking Dulcoflex Suppository. Try to leave a gap of 1 hour between taking any of these medicines and foods when taking your Dulcoflex Suppository. The Suppository form of Dulcoflex should be gently pushed into your anus (back passage). In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea and abdominal pain. However, consult a doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
