Ulpan L Capsule is used for Depression, Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Back flow of acid from stomach, Excess acid secretion by stomach, Irritable bowel syndrome, Mental disorder, Frequent persistent heartburn, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Heartburn and other conditions. Ulpan L Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Ulpan L Capsule contains Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole as active ingredients.

Uses
Ulpan L Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Depression
Dyspepsia
Indigestion
Back flow of acid from stomach
Excess acid secretion by stomach

Frequent persistent heartburn
Gastroesophageal reflux disease

Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Ulpan L Capsule. This is not a comprehensive list. Abnormal milk secretion
Neuroleptic malignant syndrome
Absence of menstruation
Changes in sexual desire
Abnormally large breast in males
Sensation of whirling and loss of balance
Increased risk of bone fractures
Severe itching of skin
Rash body temperature
Diarrhea
Blurred vision
Dizziness
Headache
Atrophic gastritis
Excess of glucose in the blood
General feeling of discomfort and illness
Pain in group of muscles
Oedema
Hyperlipidaemia
Urinary frequency
Flu syndrome
Drug dependent

Precautions

Be careful before using the medicine if having liver disease and deficiency of vitamin B12
Do not drive or operate machinery
Do not take the medicine if you are allergic to it
Have absence of periods, abnormal milk secretion or changes in sexual desire, fever, or muscle stiffness
Pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding
Swallow the tablet as a whole
Take doctor’s advice before taking the medicine if having low magnesium levels
Take the medicine one hour before meal

When not to use Ulpan L Capsule
Hypersensitivity to Ulpan L Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Ulpan L Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Allergic reactions
Atrophic gastritis
Broken bone
Cardiac impairment
Clostridium difficile bacteria related colitis
Epilepsy
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Hyperprolactinaemia
Inadequate vitamin B12
Interstitial nephritis
