TANCET L TABLET belongs to a class of drugs called anti-histamine or anti-allergic. It contains levocetirizine, TANCET L TABLET is an R-enantiomer of cetirizine primarily used to treat various kinds of allergies. You should not take TANCET L TABLET if you are allergic to TANCET L TABLET or any other medicines in the past, currently breast-feeding, or have severe kidney failure (creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min), the problem of urinary retention and fructose intolerance. You can take cetirizine while you’re pregnant, talk to your doctor about the benefits and possible harms of taking cetirizine. It’ll also depend on how many weeks pregnant you are and the reason you need to take cetirizine. It’s best not to drink alcohol while you’re taking cetirizine as it can make you feel sleepy. Take TANCET L TABLET with or without food, once a day, preferably in the evening or night as it may cause slight drowsiness. Take it twice a day only if your doctor has prescribed it to you.

Like other medications, TANCET L TABLET also has certain side effects, but it is not mandatory for anyone to experience them. In certain cases, you may experience feeling sleepy and tired, headaches, dry mouth, feeling sick (nausea), feeling dizzy, stomach pain, diarrhoea, sore throat, cold-like symptoms of the nose, itching or a rash, tingling in your hands and feet and feeling agitated.
