Dosage

Isosorbide can be taken as a tablet that is swallowed with a glass of water or as a sublingual, placed under the tongue. The doctor can prescribe from 5 mg to 20 mg, two or three times a day to prevent chest pain. Please maintain a gap of 18 hours between the last dose of the day and the first dose of the next day to avoid building a tolerance to the drug. Don’t take more than 480 mg of drug in a day.

How To Take Sorbitrate-5?

It can be swallowed with a glass of water or can be taken sublingual (placed under the tongue). It is better to take Sorbitrate-5 empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food). Don’t crush or break the tablet.
