Overview

Rabemac DSR Capsule is used for Gastric acidity, Stomach ulcers, Gastro-intestinal reflux, Treatment for symptoms associated with idiopathic or diabetic gastroparesis, Treatment for intractable nausea and vomiting, Gas, Intestinal ulcers, Heartburn, Belching and heavy bloating, Intestinal ulcer and other conditions. Rabemac DSR Capsule may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Rabemac DSR Capsule contains Domperidone and Rabeprazole as active ingredients.

Uses

Rabemac DSR Capsule is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:
Gastric acidity
Stomach ulcers
Gastro-intestinal reflux
Treatment for symptoms associated with idiopathic or diabetic gastroparesis
Treatment for intractable nausea and vomiting
Gas
Intestinal ulcers

Precautions

Before using Rabemac DSR Capsule, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Avoid driving or operating machinery
Concurrent use with QT prolongating agents
Discontinue use if experiencing signs or symptoms associated with cardiac arrhythmia

Amiodarone
Amprenavir
Antacids
Aprepitant
Atazanavir
Atropine
Clarithromycin
Diltiazem
Erythromycin
Fluconazole

When not to use Rabemac DSR Capsule

Hypersensitivity to Rabemac DSR Capsule is a contraindication. In addition, Rabemac DSR Capsule should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Breastfeeding
Co-administration with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors
Concomitant use with medicines that prolong the QT interval
Congestive heart failure
Hypersensitivity
Hypersensitivity to domperidone
Moderate or severe hepatic impairment
Patients with significant electrolyte disturbances
Pregnant
Presence of gastrointestinal haemorrhage
