How Does It Work?
The components in Olsertain H Tablet namely Olmesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide act differently. The angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) olmesartan works by blocking the receptor. The medication blocks an enzyme that is responsible for tightening blood vessels in the body. Therefore, olmesartan relaxes blood vessels. As a result, blood pressure is lowered, and the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart is increased. Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic (water pill). By increasing the flow of urine in the body, it reduces the amount of water in the body and helps lower blood pressure.

Overdose
