Nucoxia P Tablet
Nucoxia P Tablet is a combination of Etoricoxib and Paracetamol. It provides relief from pain, stiffness, and swelling due to bone and joint-related conditions. It is also used to provide relief from headache, toothache, backache, menstrual pain, sprains, and strains. It works by preventing the release of a chemical substance that causes pain and swelling in your body, thus provides pain relief.
Nucoxia P Tablet have side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhoea, increased blood pressure, etc. These side effects usually subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you. Avoid driving or operating heavy machines if you feel dizzy and/or drowsy.
Nucoxia Tablet can be taken with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of treatment depending on the severity of your health condition. Take it at the same time every day as it will help you to remember. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Nucoxia Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Avoid taking this medicine if you have severe liver or kidney problems, or existing heart problems. Use this medicine with caution if you have diabetes and/or high blood cholesterol (fats) levels. Inform your doctor if you have any other medical conditions or taking any other medicines.
Nucoxia P Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 16 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a condition in which your body’s immune system attacks the small joints and causes swelling and pain. Nucoxia P Tablet is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
Ankylosing Spondylitis
Ankylosing Spondylitis is a condition affecting the small bones of your spine causing them to fuse. The symptoms include pain and stiffness in your lower back and hips. Nucoxia Tablet is used to treat this condition.
Acute Gout
Acute gout is a painful condition that often affects the joints in your big toe. It is caused due to deposition of uric acid (a waste product in the blood) in your joints. Nucoxia Tablet is used to treat this condition.
When not to use?
Allergy
Avoid taking Nucoxia P Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rashes, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Severe Liver/Kidney Impairment
Nucoxia P Tablet is not recommended for use if you have severe liver and/or kidney problems. This medicine may further damage your liver and/or kidneys and worsen your condition.
Heart diseases
Nucoxia P Tablet is not recommended for use if you have heart problems such as heart failure (a condition in which your heart is unable to pump a sufficient amount of blood), ischaemic heart diseases (heart problems due to narrowing of the blood vessels that supply oxygen to the heart), high blood pressure that has not been adequately controlled or if you have undergone a coronary artery bypass graft surgery (a surgical procedure that diverts the blood from narrowed or blocked vessels in the heart to improve its blood supply). Taking this medicine may increase your risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain).

Dosage
Missed Dose
