Description
Neopride 50 MG Tablet is a medication that improves your gastric motility and also helps in managing certain mental disorders.
Neopride 50 MG Tablet is used to treat stomach disorders such as indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome (intestinal disorder causing stomach pain, diarrhoea, and constipation), frequent heartburn, and acid reflux(a condition where the stomach acid flows back into the food pipe). This medicine (at a dose of 50mg and 100mg) is also used to manage mental disorders like schizophrenia. This medicine works by increasing the movement of your stomach and intestines and preventing acid reflux. It also blocks the action of certain chemicals in your brain.
Neopride 50 MG Tablet shows side effects like headache, fatigue, constipation, tiredness, weight changes, and irregular periods. This medicine causes drowsiness, hence avoid any activity that requires mental focus such as driving or operating machines. Consult your doctor if you have missed your periods, have a fever, or have any abnormal milk secretion.
Neopride 50 MG Tablet should be taken before food or as prescribed by your doctor. It is important to take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. If you forget to take a dose of this medicine, then skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to compensate for the missed dose.
Neopride 50 MG Tablet should not be taken if you are allergic to it.
