Motinorm DT 10mg Tablet
Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT is an anti-emetic (drug effective against vomiting and nausea). It is used to relieve nausea, vomiting and indigestion and also increases intestinal movements and facilitates the emptying of the bowel. Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT works by blocking certain substances in your brain that trigger nausea or vomiting.
Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT shows some side effects like headache, dry mouth, stomach pain, etc. This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. When not to use?
Allergy
Avoid taking Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT if you are allergic to it. If you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc., consult your doctor at the earliest.
Tumor of Pituitary gland
Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT is not recommended for use if you have a prolactin-releasing tumour of the pituitary gland as this medicine is known to have a prolactin-releasing effect which can affect you, and may increase the risk of worsening your condition.
Heart diseases
Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT is not recommended for use if you have any heart disease like congestive heart failure (a condition where the heart cannot pump blood efficiently) as it can result in QT prolongation (changes in the pattern of heartbeat), hence affecting the working of your heart. This can increase the risk of worsening your condition.
Severe liver disease
Motinorm 10 MG Tablet DT can affect your liver when given for a long period or in high doses. This medicine is not recommended if your child has severe liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
