About Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml
Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml belongs to the class of local anaesthetics known as ‘numbing medication’. Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml produces local numbness by blocking the nerve signal in the affected area. It is available in the form of injection and topical (gel/cream). Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml injection is used to reduce pain and discomfort caused by invasive medical procedures such as surgery, needle punctures, or insertion of a breathing tube or catheter. Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml is also used to treat irregular heart rhythms. It is also used to reduce the discomfort of contractions during labour. Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml topical is used to reduce discomfort and pain caused by skin irritations and haemorrhoids (piles). Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body. Pain may be dull or sharp; it might be constant or may come and go. The tolerance level of pain might vary from person to person.
Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml blocks the influx (entry) of sodium ions into the membrane that surrounds the nerves, thereby preventing initiation and conduction of impulses. Hence, it gives an anaesthetic effect and helps decrease the sensation of pain.
The injection form of Lox 4% Topical Solution 30ml will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer.
