What is it prescribed for?
Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is a condition in which your blood pressure is consistently higher than normal. High blood pressure often has no symptoms, but if left untreated, it may increase your risk of heart problems and stroke (damage to your brain resulting from reduced/blocked blood supply). Losartas 50 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension.
Diabetic Nephropathy is a condition that causes damage to the kidneys due to increased blood sugar levels. This results in increased protein levels in your urine. Losartas 50 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of kidney problems if you have type-II diabetes mellitus and hypertension. It helps protect your kidneys and prevent further damage.
Hypertension with left ventricular hypertrophy
Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) is the thickening of the left chamber of the heart resulting in decreased pumping efficiency. It may occur if you have uncontrolled high blood pressure. Losartas 50 MG Tablet helps to reduce the risk of stroke if you have high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH).
