Levocet D Plus Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used to treat symptoms associated with allergic conditions, such as sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itchy nose or throat, and runny nose. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 12 years of age.

Uses of Levocet D Plus Tablet

What is it prescribed for?
Allergic Rhinitis
This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. associated with allergic rhinitis. This allergic condition could be seasonal or non-seasonal and long-lasting.

When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to levocetirizine, phenylephrine or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.
Kidney Disease
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with end-stage kidney disease and creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.

Use of this medicine may increase the risk of sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with medicines that are sedatives or tranquilizers. It is advised that you inform the doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before beginning treatment with this medicine.
Use in Elderly
This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly population due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. Appropriate dose adjustments may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Take this medicine exactly advised by your doctor. You can take this medicine with or without food. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed.
