Medical Description

Doliprane Injection is a medicine used for relieving pain and reducing fever. It contains paracetamol. It is used for the short-term treatment of pain especially after surgery and fever when medicines can not be taken orally by the patient. Paracetamol works by interfering with the release of certain natural chemical substances (prostaglandins) and relieves pain & fever. Mode of Action of Doliprane 1000 MG

How Does It Work?
There are some chemicals in the body called prostaglandins. These are substances that cause pain, swelling and fever. Doliprane Injection contains paracetamol which blocks the production of these prostaglandins, thus temporarily controlling fever or pain. And as it acts on the part of the brain which controls the temperature of the body, it controls the fever.

Doliprane Injection will be given in a hospital by your doctor or nurse as an injection. This is not meant for self-administration.

Dosage of Doliprane 1000 MG

Overdose
The injection will be administered by the doctor or nurse, so the chance of an overdose is very low. However, in case of an overdose you may experience nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and stomach ache.
Missed a Dose
You will be administered by health professionals as to when the medicine should be given to you. So the chance of missing a dose is very low. But if you think they might have missed a dose, inform them.
