Description

Diclofen-MR Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of diclofenac, paracetamol and chlorzoxazone. It is used for the treatment of pain, swelling, and tenderness associated with muscle injury and muscle spasms. It is also used to treat pain and swelling in post-surgical patients. This medicine blocks the release of certain chemicals that cause pain and swelling and blocks the pain impulse from the affected site to the brain, thus relieving pain and swelling effectively.

Diclofen-MR Tablet shows common side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain and diarrhoea. If any of these effects persist for a long time or worsen, consult your doctor at the earliest.

DiclofenMR Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. You must follow the dosage instructed by the doctor. Appropriate physical therapy and rest are necessary along with this medicine to get better results.

When not to use?

Allergy
Do not take Diclofen-MR Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek medical attention if you experience allergic reactions such as skin rashes, hives (painful eruptions that itch and sting), swelling (face, lips, tongue, etc.), breathing difficulty, etc.
Peptic ulcer

Diclofen-MR Tablet is not recommended for use before, during, or after a coronary artery bypass graft surgery as it may cause heart failure.
Kidney diseases
Diclofen-MR Tablet is excreted through your kidneys. If you have pre-existing kidney problems, using this medicine will worsen your condition further.
Severe liver disease
Diclofen-MR Tablet is broken down and absorbed. in the liver. If you have liver problems, accumulation of this medicine may take place in the liver leading to worsening of compromised liver and other undesirable effects.
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Diclofen-MR Tablet may damage the stomach and intestinal lining and increase the risk of bleeding. This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known history of gastrointestinal bleeding.

Dosage

Missed Dose
If you forget to take a dose of Diclofen-MR Tablet take it as soon as you remember. Do not add it with your next dose to make up for a missed dose.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of Diclofen-MR Tablet, seek immediate medical guidance.

General Instructions
