Diclofam Gel (DICLOFENAC 2%/ LINSEED OIL 5% /MENTHOL 3%/METHYL SALICYLATE 10%) 30gm

Diclofam Gel 30 gm is a non-sedative painkiller, belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID). It is primarily taken for reducing pain and inflammation. Pain is an unpleasant sensation and emotional experience that is associated with damage to tissue. It allows the body to react and prevent further tissue damage. Pain can be short term (acute) or long term (chronic). Perception of pain can differ from person to person where from tolerable to non-tolerable.

Diclofam Gel 30 gm is used to treat aches and pains, along with problems of musculoskeletal and joint pain. It is helpful in the conditions of acute migraine headache, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis or painful menses. Diclofam Gel 30 gm works by blocking the chemical effect of an enzyme called cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which produces prostaglandins (mediators of pain and inflammation) which are responsible for the sense of pain and inflammation produced at the sites of injury and damage.

Take Diclofam Gel 30 gm as prescribed. Diclofam Gel 30 gm is generally safe to consume. Some may experience stomach pain, heartburn, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting (being sick), diarrhoea, indigestion, loss of appetite, headache, and dizziness. Most of the side effects of Diclofam Gel 30 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Consumption of alcohol should be avoided during the treatment with Diclofam Gel 30 gm as it may lead to an increased risk of liver damage. Patients with stomach ulcers, gastric bleeding, severe heart failure, high blood pressure and liver or kidney disease should not take Diclofam Gel 30 gm. Besides this, it should be avoided during the last trimester of pregnancy, unless the doctor has prescribed you.

Pain relief

Diclofam Gel 30 gm relieve mild to moderate pain, swelling and joint stiffness caused due to arthritis. Diclofam Gel 30 gm helps in reducing these overall symptoms that support you to manage and do your normal daily activities. To prevent the stomach from gastric irritation, Diclofam Gel 30 gm is also available in the form of suppositories and topical gel. It is also helpful in the conditions of acute migraine headache, muscle pain, dental pain, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis or painful menses.

Tablet: Take it with a glass of water during or after the meal to avoid stomach upset or irritation. Do not chew, break, or split it. Topical form: Wash your hand and then apply it to the painful or swollen area. Suppository: Gently push it into your back passage (anus) with the pointed end first. It should go at least 1 inch into your anus. After insertion of suppository lie down for at least 15 minutes for better results.
