CyclopamMF Tablet 10’s is a combination medicine used to treat abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea (period pain), and colicky pain. Abdominal (tummy) pain occurs between your chest and pelvic region (below the belly button and leg). Menstrual cramps, also known as dysmenorrhea, are characterized by cramps and pain during menstruation. Colic is a form of pain that starts and stops abruptly.

Cyclopam-MF Tablet 10’s is a combination of two drugs: Dicyclomine (anti-spasmodic) and Mefenamic acid (NSAID). Dicyclomine works by relieving contractions associated with smooth muscles of the abdomen. Mefenamic acid works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger in your body, known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical prostaglandins (PG). By blocking the COX enzyme’s effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, Cyclopam-MF Tablet 10’s helps in relieving pain.

Take CyclopamMF Tablet 10’s with food to prevent stomach upset. Swallow Cyclopam-MF Tablet 10’s as a whole with a glass of water, do not chew, or break the tablet. You are advised to take Cyclopam-MF Tablet 10’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. You may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dry mouth, and weakness in some cases. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Cyclopam-MF Tablet 10’s can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Cyclopam-MF Tablet 10’s.
