Movicol Sachet 13.81 gm belongs to a class of drugs called laxatives used to treat constipation. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements in which the stools are often dry, painful, and hard to pass.

Movicol Sachet 13.81 gm is a combination of four drugs, namely: Polyethylene glycol, Potassium chloride, Sodium bicarbonate and Sodium chloride. Polyethylene glycol draws water into the intestine and softens stools making them easier to pass. Potassium chloride is essential for healthy organ functioning. Sodium bicarbonate works by suppressing high levels of acid in the stomach and helps to treat acidity and heartburn. Sodium chloride maintains sodium levels in the body. Together, Movicol Sachet 13.81 gm helps in relieving constipation.

Use Movicol Sachet 13.81 gm as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Movicol Sachet 13.81 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Directions for Use

Drug-Drug Interaction: Movicol Sachet 13.81 gm may interact with anticonvulsants (phenytoin, carbamazepine).
