About Zanocin F Tablet 10’s
Zanocin F Tablet 10’s belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the urinary tract (kidney and bladder). Zanocin F Tablet 10’s helps to relieve symptoms which may occur due to the infection such as painful urination, inability to control urine flow, and excessive urination at night. Urinary tract infections are caused by microbes such as bacteria overcoming the body’s defences in the urinary tract. They can affect the kidneys, bladder, and the tubes that run between them.
Zanocin F Tablet 10’s is a combination of two drugs, namely: Ofloxacin (quinolone antibiotic) and Flavoxate (anti-spasmodic). Ofloxacin prevents the bacteria from repairing and reproducing themselves, thereby kills the bacteria. Flavoxate relaxes the muscles of the urinary bladder, thereby helps in preventing frequent urination, excessive or uncontrolled urination. Zanocin F Tablet 10’s does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.
Take Zanocin F Tablet 10’s with or without food. Swallow Zanocin F Tablet 10’s as a whole with water; do not chew, break or crush the tablet. The dose and duration of Zanocin F Tablet 10’s can vary depending upon your condition and severity of the infection. Also, it is recommended to complete the course of medicine even if you feel better as Zanocin F Tablet 10’s contains an antibiotic, and leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection that will, in fact, stop responding to the antibiotic as well (antibiotic resistance). In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, dizziness, and headache. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Zanocin F Tablet 10’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Do not exceed the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Zanocin F Tablet 10’s should not be taken unless prescribed by a doctor. Zanocin F Tablet 10’s contains ofloxacin which might increase the chances of developing tendinitis (swelling of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle) or have a tendon rupture (tearing of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle). Consult your doctor before taking Zanocin F Tablet 10’s if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; your doctor will prescribe you Zanocin F Tablet 10’s only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Zanocin F Tablet 10’s causes dizziness, so drive with caution. Zanocin F Tablet 10’s should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol while taking Zanocin F Tablet 10’s as it could lead to increased dizziness.
