Visanne 2mg Tablet is a medicine that contains Dienogest (a type of progestogen that produces effects similar to those of the natural female sex hormone progesterone in the body). It is used in the treatment of pelvic pain associated with endometriosis, in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus. It works by suppressing the activity of a hormone that causes endometriosis.

Visanne 2mg Tablet has some side effects like acne, headache, mood swings, weight gain, etc. These side effects may subside with time. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects bother you for a long time or worsen. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it.

Visanne 2 Tablet can be taken with or without food in the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor. This medicine can be started from the first day of the menstrual cycle without a break. Allergy
