Risnia MD 1mg is an antipsychotic medicine that is used in the treatment of Schizophrenia (a disorder that affects your ability to think, feel and behave clearly), Bipolar disorder (a condition that causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs and lows) and Autism (a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviours, speech, and nonverbal communication). It works by changing the effects of chemicals in the brain.

Risnia MD Tablet 1 mg may cause side effects like drowsiness, sedation, sleeplessness, tremors, change in speech patterns, headaches, abdominal pains, weight gain, etc. Most of these side effects should resolve with time. Do not discontinue the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Do not use this medicine if you have been allergic to Risperidone or Paliperidone in the past. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience skin rashes, hives, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, difficulty breathing, etc.
