Ovuloc Ld Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Side-effects

Precautions

Before using Ovuloc  Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Age above 35 years
Avoid smoking during drug intake
Avoid taking it, if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant
Consult a doctor if you have diabetes, obesity, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, mild hypertension, migraine, mental illness or gallbladder disease
Do not take, if you have a Blood clots in a blood vessel or the lungs or any unexplained vaginal bleeding
Does not protect against sexuall transmitted diseases
Have regular breast and gynecology exams while on this medication
If you are allergic to it or any of the ingredients of this medicine
If you are changing from a combined pill, vaginal ring, or transdermal patch, start it at the latest the day following any break free period or on the day itself if you had no break free period
If you are not using hormonal contraception at present or in the past month take your first pack of this drug on the first day of your period

Aminoglutethimide
Ascorbic acid
Carbamazepine
Dicoumarol
Hydrocortisone
Phenobarbital
Phenobarbitone
Phenytoin
Prednisolone
Primidone

When not to use Ovuloc Ld Tablet

Hypersensitivity to Ovuloc Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Ovuloc Ld Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Active liver disease
Avoid postoperative thromboembolism
Blood clots within the blood vessels of the eye
Breast cancer
Coronary and cerebrovascular diseases or a history of it
Depression
Disease of the gallbladder
Family history of breast cancer
Heart attack
High amount of triglyceride in the blood
