Nitoside 50Mg Injection is used for treating conditions such as heart attack, heart failure, high blood pressure during stroke, low blood pressure during surgeries and operations, and therapy-resistant hypertension. Nitoside 50Mg Injection works by relaxing the muscles and widening the blood vessels.

Are there any missed dose instructions?

If you miss a dose of Nitroprusside, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Work

This medication works as a vasodilator and it does that by turning to nitric oxide. Nitric oxide triggers guanylate cyclase, which in turn activates protein kinase G. When this happens, myosin light chain, which is responsible for muscle contraction is inactivated, which leads to mitigating vascular smooth muscle.
