Description

Mycospor Cream is an antifungal agent used in the treatment of superficial skin infections such as athlete’s foot (infections of the feet, usually between the toes), jock itch (fungal infection in the groin or buttocks), etc. caused by the fungi.

Uses of Mycospor Cream

What is it prescribed for?
Skin fungal infections
This medicine is used in the treatment of superficial skin fungal infections such as Tinea corporis (ringworm infection), Tinea pedis (foot infection), Tinea Cruris (jock itch), Tinea Versicolor (skin fungal infection characterized by small, discolored patches), etc.

When not to use?

Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to bifonazole or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Pregnancy
This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before using this medicine.
Breast-feeding

Dosage

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
An overdose of this medicine is not likely to cause severe symptoms. However, ingestion of this medicine may cause harm and immediate medical intervention may be required.

General Instructions

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by the doctor.
