Metolar 12.5 MG Capsule is a heart medicine that contains Metoprolol. It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), angina pectoris (chest pain caused when your heart muscle does not get enough oxygen-rich blood), and arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). Metolar 12.5 MG Capsule helps in preventing heart attack (a blockage of blood flow to the heart muscle) and stroke (damage to the brain from interruption of its blood supply). Metolar 12.5 MG Capsule works by reducing the rate and force of the contractions of your heart. Thus it decreases high blood pressure.
Metolar 12.5 MG Capsule may cause side effects like headache, breathing difficulty, low blood pressure, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist for a longer time. This medicine may also cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine. Do not take Metolar 12.5 MG Capsule if you are allergic to it.

Allergy
