What is it prescribed for?
Diabetic Neuropathy
This medicine is used for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, a complication of diabetes characterized by symptoms such as pain and numbness in the legs, tingling or burning sensation, reduced sensation to touch, etc

When not to use?

Leber’s Disease
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients who have Leber’s Disease, a rare genetic disorder due to the increased risk of worsening the patient’s condition.
Allergy
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Alpha lipoic acid, Folic Acid, Methylcobalamin, Pyridoxine or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

Pregnancy

Breast-feeding

General warnings
Use in Elderly

Other medicines

Gastrointestinal surgery
Patients who have had recent gastrointestinal surgery may have reduced absorption of this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments should be done under your doctor’s supervision.
Use of antacids
Coadministration of antacids and this medicine may reduce the absorption of this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative should be done under your doctor’s supervision.
Use in children
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established. However, your doctor may prescribe this medicine if the benefits significantly outweigh the risks. In such a case, the patient should be monitored closely for any undesirable side effects.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

General Instructions

Take this medicine with or without food. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
