About Gate P Eye Drop

Gate P Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them. Prednisolone is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. Instructions for taking Gate P Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and drop the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid and keep the eye closed for 2 minutes or until the medicine gets evenly distributed in the eyes. Check the label for further instructions.
