Eberjen-M Cream (Eberconazole 1% / Mometasone 0.1%)

Description

Eberjen-M Cream is a combination medicine composed of Eberconazole and Mometasone. It is used in the treatment of various fungal infections of the skin as it stops the growth of fungi, thereby reducing the infection.

Eberjen-M Cream may cause mild side effects like itching, burning sensation, irritation and redness at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

Eberjen-M Cream is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area before application. Apply a thin layer over the affected parts of your skin. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. Do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms could reoccur.

Eberjen-M Cream is not recommended if you are allergic to it and in children below 16 years of age. Eberjen-M Cream is used in the treatment of nail and skin infections caused by fungi. It is used in conditions like athlete’s foot (itchy white patches between the toes), jock itch (red, itchy and ring shapes rash around the groins), ringworm (red, itchy, circular-shaped rash with clear skin in the middle), Pityriasis Versicolor (an infection that causes discolouration due to skin pigmentation), Cutaneous candidiasis (an infection that mostly affects the skin and nails due to candida fungus), etc.

When not to use?

Allergy
Eberjen-M Cream is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of your face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Apply the missed dose of Eberjen-M Cream as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
Overdose
An overdose of Eberjen-M Cream is not likely to cause severe symptoms unless it is applied for a prolonged period in large volumes. However, ingestion of this medicine may affect you and immediate medical intervention may be required.

General Instructions

Apply a thin layer of Eberjen-M Cream to the affected areas of the skin as instructed by your doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended.

Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by your doctor.
