Dytor Plus 5 Tablet is used to treat various conditions such as accumulation of excessive of water in the body, accumulation of excessive salts in the body, high blood pressure, heart failure or other heart related disorders, fluid retention in liver or kidney disease, lung swelling, cardiac dysfunction, etc.

The primary working principle for Dytor Plus 5 Tablet relies on active elimination of excess or unrequired water and excessive sodium content from the body by making them leave the body with the passage of urine. The doctor will prescribe your dose taking into consideration your condition and overall medical history.

You should not use Dytor Plus 5 Tablet if you are or have a:

Kidney, liver or heart disease,
High levels of potassium,
An adrenal gland disorder,
Pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.
The dosage prescribed to you generally depends on the severity of your condition and how your body reacts to the medicine. It may interfere with your sleeping pattern. In case of patients with edema because of congestive heart failure, the dosage may vary from 10mg – 20mg in a day. Those with renal problems may be prescribed about 20mg daily.

This medication is mostly prescribed for daily consumption and can be taken before or after food. Patients are generally advised not to take this medication for about 4 hours before bedtime, as you may develop the need to urinate frequently in the middle of the night.

Patients with hypertension are generally prescribed about 5mg-10mg of the drug to be taken once a day. This medication should not be discontinued prior to the doctor’s consent. It is primarily because if you stop taking this medication, it can suddenly aggravate your symptoms. This medication is meant for oral consumption and is available in tablet form.
