Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet is a combination of Amlodipine and Bisoprolol. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine lowers your blood pressure by relaxing your heart muscles and blood vessels, thus improves blood flow. This further reduces the risk stroke and heart attacks.

Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet can cause side effects like swelling in your ankles or feet, headache, nausea, diarrhoea, etc. These side effects usually resolve on their own but consult your doctor if it worsens. Avoid activities that require mental focus like driving or operating machines if you feel dizzy.

Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet can be taken with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose based on your condition. Take Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your blood. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

When not to use?

Allergy
Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, swelling and/or itching (especially in the face, lips, throat, etc.), dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Cardiogenic shock
Cardiogenic shock is an emergency condition where your heart suddenly stops pumping blood throughout your body. Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet is not recommended in such cases as this medicine relaxes your heart muscles and decrease the heart rate, which further depresses your heart functions.
Heart block greater than first degree
Heart block is a condition where the heart beats very slowly or with an abnormal rhythm. Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet is not recommended in such cases as it can worsen your heart condition.
Sinus Bradycardia
Sinus bradycardia refers to slow heartbeat due to improper electrical impulses in your heart. Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet is not recommended if you have sinus bradycardia as it can slower your heartbeats and worsen your condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose of Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Seek emergency medical treatment in case of an overdose of Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet.

General Instructions

Take Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet may be taken with or without food. Do not break, crush or chew the tablet.

Take this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Avoid taking more or fewer doses than that prescribed by your doctor. Keep taking the medicine regularly even if your condition improves. Avoid self-medication or discontinuation of this medicine without your doctor’s advise.

Corbis AM (5/2.5 mg) Tablet can make you dizzy. Hence stand up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying down position.

Avoid smoking, eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise regularly to get the maximum benefit from the treatment.
