Cilacar T Tablet

Cilacar T Tablet is a combination of Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. It is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine relaxes the blood vessels, thus controls your blood pressure.

Cilacar T Tablet can cause side effects like stomach pain, swelling in your hands and feet, irregular heartbeats, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effect persists or worsens. This medicine can cause dizziness, therefore avoid activities that require mental focus like driving or operating machines.

Cilacar T Tablet can be taken with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose based on your condition. Take Cilacar T Tablet at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your blood. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

When not to use?

Allergy
Cilacar T Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, swelling and/or itching (especially in the face, lips, throat, etc.), dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Aliskiren
Taking Cilacar T Tablet and Aliskiren (a medicine used to reduce blood pressure) together is not recommended as it may lead to kidney damage, low blood pressure and hyperkalaemia (high potassium levels in the blood). This risk is especially higher if you have diabetes or kidney problems.
Severe liver impairment
Cilacar T Tablet is not recommended if you have severe liver problems. This medicine may accumulated in the liver and further lead to liver damage and increased risk of side effects.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose of Cilacar T Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Contact your doctor immediately if you suspect an overdose of Cilacar T Tablet for further guidance.

General Instructions

Take Cilacar T Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. Do not break, crush, or chew the tablet.
