BUDATE 200 TRANSCAP contains Budesonide which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It works by reducing and preventing swelling and inflammation in lungs. Asthma is a condition in which airways narrow, swells and produces extra mucus and makes breathing difficult and trigger coughing, wheezing when breathe out and shortness of breath. This medicine is used to treat asthma and helps to prevent and control asthma symptoms and also used to treat croup in infants and children. It is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid that exhibits potent glucocorticoid activity and weak mineralocorticoid activity.

Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor. The dose you take will depend on your age, other medications you are taking and whether you have any kidney or liver problems. Before using this BUDATE 200 TRANSCAP, tell your doctor if you have tuberculosis, infections, liver disease, pregnant or breastfeeding. Your doctor will prescribe dose depending on your child’s age and body weight. The common side effects are throat irritation, stuffy nose and respiratory infections.

Sore nose and throat:

Ketoconazole or itraconazole (used to treat infection)
Clarithromycin, erythromycin
Ritonavir, cobicistat and nelfinivir
Prednisone
