Budamate 100 HFA Transhaler is a combination of Budesonide and Formoterol. It is used in the treatment of asthma (a condition with swollen and narrow airways in your lungs, resulting in breathing difficulties). Formoterol works by relaxing and opening the blocked air passages of your lungs and improves breathing. Budesonide works by decreasing the formation of certain chemical substances in your body that are responsible for causing pain and swelling.

When not to use?

Allergy

Status asthmaticus
Budamate 100 HFA Transhaler is not recommended as a first-line treatment for status asthmaticus (a severe, acute asthma attack), since this medicine is not adequately effective in treating this condition.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Try not to skip a dose of Budamate 100 HFA Transhaler. Administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.
Overdose
