Description

Bilagra 20 Tablet is an antihistamine medicine that contains Bilastine. It is used to relieve symptoms like runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, itching, rash and hives caused by allergens. It works by stopping the action of a natural substance called histamine produced in your body that causes allergic reactions.

Bilagra 20 Tablet has some side effects like headache, dizziness, and nausea. These side effects may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or worsen. Avoid activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles and operating machines after taking this medicine as it may cause drowsiness.

Urticaria
Urticaria or hives are red, itchy welts that result from a skin reaction. It is triggered by an allergic reaction to food, some medicines or other irritants in the environment. Bilagra 20 Tablet is used to treat symptoms of urticaria like swelling, redness, itching, etc.

When not to use?

Allergy
Avoid taking Bilagra 20 Tablet if you are allergic to it. Serious allergic reactions to this medicine are rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.

Dosage

Missed Dose
Take the missed dose of Bilagra 20 Tablet as soon as you remember (making sure you take it on an empty stomach). If you forget to take the dose till the next day, skip the missed dose. Do not take two doses at a time to make up for a missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose. Seek emergency medical treatment in case of an overdose of Bilagra 20 Tablet is suspected.

General Instructions

Take Bilagra 20 Tablet on an empty stomach or as prescribed by your doctor. Never take more than the prescribed dose.

Do not share or suggest this medicine to other people even if their condition appears to be the same as yours.
