Betnesol tablet is a steroid medicine. It is used in patients with allergy, immune-related disorders, rheumatoid arthritis, bronchial asthma, skin and other allergic conditions to subside associated
ymptoms. Betnesol tablets are helpful in relieving inflammation (redness, swelling, itching). This tablet is a steroid medicine containing betamethasone as its active ingredient. It works in the prevention of inflammation by binding to the steroid receptor. It also stimulates natural substances in the skin, hence reducing inflammation and swelling. Take the medicine exactly as told by the doctor. Do not miss any dose or stop taking it without consulting the doctor. You must complete the entire course with the medicine. Do not increase the dose or discontinue abruptly without consulting the prescriber as it may worsen the disease condition. Some common side effects of Betnesol tablets are nausea, indigestion and heartburn but not everybody gets them. These side effects normally go away with time. But if you feel the side effects persist, you should consult your doctor. Betnesol might cause an upset stomach, thus may be taken with meals to reduce these side effects.
