AF 200 Tablet (Fluconazole 200mg)

AF 200MG contains Fluconazole belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It is used to treat the infections caused by fungi and soothes irritated skin and relieves the fungal itch. It works by stopping fungi and yeasts from producing a substance called ergosterol, which is an essential component of their cell membranes. This causes holes to appear in cell membranes, which allows essential constituents of the fungal or yeast cells to leak out.

Always take this medicine as directed by physician. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of therapy depending upon your age, weight and condition. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. It is recommended for the use in children and adolescents as advised by a doctor. Do not take AF 200MG if you have abnormal levels of potassium, calcium or magnesium in your blood. It should be used with caution in the pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Tell your doctor, if you are taking or taken or might take any other medicines. The most common side effects include headache, stomach discomfort, diarrhea, feeling sick, vomiting, increases in blood tests of liver function and rash.

Sudden wheezing

Skin itching:

Avoid bath in hot water because hot water can irritate the skin. Moisturizers can be used regular basis to soothe and hydrate the affected area.

Nausea and vomiting:

Keep try taking this medicine with, or just after, a meal or snack and stick to simple meals and do not eat rich or spicy food.

Diarrhea:

Drink lot of fluid, such as water or squash, to avoid dehydration. Do not take any other medicine without consulting your doctor.
