A Bec L Tablet 30’s belongs to a class of drugs called antiretroviral’s used to treat HIV infection. A Bec L Tablet 30’s helps in decreasing the chance of developing AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome). HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is a virus that attacks the immune system and destroys the white blood cells that help in fighting infection, making the individual susceptible to other infections or illnesses.

A Bec L Tablet 30’s is a combination of two drugs, namely: Abacavir and Lamivudine. Both Abacavir and Lamivudine are nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. A Bec L Tablet 30’s works by interfering with the working of nucleotide and nucleoside reverse transcriptase enzymes necessary for the reproduction of the virus. Together, A Bec L Tablet 30’s helps in treating HIV infection.

Take A Bec L Tablet 30’s as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take A Bec L Tablet 30’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience headache, tiredness, dizziness, nausea, diarrhoea, rash, fever. Most of these side effects of A Bec L Tablet 30’s do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to A Bec L Tablet 30’s or any other medicines, soya or peanut, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please consult a doctor before taking A Bec L Tablet 30’s. Avoid breastfeeding while taking A Bec L Tablet 30’s as it may pass into breast milk. A Bec L Tablet 30’s is not recommended for children below 18 years of age. You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption with A Bec L Tablet 30’s as it may increase the risk of liver damage. Drive only if you are alert as A Bec L Tablet 30’s may cause dizziness.

Take A Bec L Tablet 30’s with food as prescribed by your doctor. The tablet form of A Bec L Tablet 30’s should be swallowed as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it.
