Topcal M Tablet (Calcium citrate /Elemental magnesium)

Topcal M Tablet is used for Low blood calcium levels, Zinc deficiencies, Diarrhea in malnutrition children, Wilson’s disease, Osteoporosis, Low amounts of magnesium in the blood, Vitamin d deficiency and other conditions. Topcal M Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Topcal M Tablet contains Calcium Citrate, Elemental Magnesium, Elemental Zinc and Vitamin D3 as active ingredients.

Topcal M Tablet works by normalizing the reproductive and immune system for tissue renewal maintenance of skin and for bones health; preventing or treating the low blood calcium levels; neutralizing stomach acid and moves stools through the intestine; increasing absorption of calcium and phosphorus required for strong bones;

Topcal M Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Topcal M Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

Zinc along with quinolone or tetracycline antibiotics reduces the amount of both zinc

Thiazide diuretics increased the release of zinc through urine

Always consult your physician for the change of dose regimen or an alternative drug of choice that may strictly be required

Hypotension

Headache

Constipation

Diarrhea

Flatulence

Nausea

Vomiting

Hypophosphatemia

Hypomagnesemia

Hypercalcemia anorexia

Coma

Confusion

Delirium

Stomach upset

Stomach ache

Loss of appetite

Feeling of sickness

Excessive thirst

Muscle weakness

Drowsiness or confusion

Excess calcium in the blood or urine

Hypersensitivity to Topcal M Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Topcal M Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:

Confusion

High blood calcium level

High calcium levels

Hypersensitivity

Irregular heartbeat

Kidney disease

Kidney problems

Kidney stone

Large doses taken by mouth or by IV
