Signoflam-TH 4mg Tablet 10’s is a combination medicine used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, muscle pain, bone and joint pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Muscle spasm is the sudden involuntary contractions of the muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable. Arthritis is the tenderness and swelling in the joints.

Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s is a combination of three drugs, namely: Thiocolchicoside (muscle relaxant), Aceclofenac (NSAID), and Paracetamol (Analgesic). Thiocolchicoside works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol work by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical prostaglandin (PG). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking COX enzymes’ effect, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, Signoflam-TH 4mg Tablet 10’s helps in relieving pain due to muscle spasms.

Take Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s with or without food. Swallow Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or break the tablet. You are advised to take Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, heartburn, and diarrhoea. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not use Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s. Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s increases the chances of stomach ulcers and bleeding. Do not take Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed. Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s causes drowsiness and dizziness, so drive with caution. Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Signoflam-TH 4 Tablet 10’s as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
