Description

Glycohale-F Rotacap is a combination of Glycopyrrolate and Formoterol. It is used in the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a lung condition that causes blockage of airflow leading to breathing-related problems). It relieves symptoms such as chest tightness, wheezing, shortness of breath, breathing difficulty, coughing, etc. It works by preventing the release of certain chemicals that cause narrowing of your airways. Hence, it relaxes and opens the blocked air passages leading to your lungs.

Glycohale-F Rotacap shows side effects like runny/stuffy nose, sore throat, cough, and urination problems. Consult your doctor if any side effect persists or worsens.

Glycohale-F Rotacap should be taken as instructed by your doctor. The dose and frequency of inhalation will be decided by your doctor depending on your clinical condition. Take it every day at the same time for better results.

Paradoxical bronchospasm

Severe kidney impairment

Dosage

Missed Dose
Try not to skip the scheduled dose of Glycohale-F Rotacap. If you forget to take a dose, make sure that you remember to take your next dose when it is due. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Glycohale-F Rotacap. In case of overdose consult your doctor immediately.

General Instructions

Use Glycohale-F Rotacap as directed by your doctor. Do not chew or swallow the capsule. Take it with a Revolizer or Rotahaler device. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert.

The prescribed dose, frequency, and duration of intake will be specific as per your condition. Avoid taking more or fewer doses than prescribed by your doctor. Ensure that the course of treatment is completed.

Avoid sudden discontinuation of this medicine as it may worsen your condition.

Change the rotahaler every six months.
