About Zucator M 500 mg Tablet:

Zucator M 500 mg tablet is a combination of two anti-diabetic medications, used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each film coated Zucator M 500 mg tablet contains Remogliflozin Etabonate 100mg, Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg and Excipients q.s.

Remogliflozin Etabonate (RE) is a prodrug of remogliflozin. Remogliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor, inhibits the SGLT2 co-transporter, which leads to lower reabsorption of filtered glucose into the body and decreases the renal threshold for glucose (RTG), leading to increased glucose excretion in the urine.

Metformin is a biguanide antihyperglycaemic agent which improves glucose tolerance by lowering both basal and postprandial plasma glucose. It decreases hepatic glucose production, delays intestinal glucose absorption, and improves insulin sensitivity by enhancing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.

Zucator M 500 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps to control high blood glucose levels.
