Xarelto 2.5mg Tab 14’S is an anticoagulant or blood-thinning medicine used to prevent the clotting of blood.

Uses of Xarelto 2.5 MG

Xarelto 2.5mg Tab 14’S uses are for deep vein thrombosis, prevention of heart attack, pulmonary embolism or risk of a stroke. Also, it is used for the prevention of blood clots after a hip or knee replacement.

Contraindications of Xarelto 2.5 MG

It is not supposed to be prescribed to children below 18 years of age.
It is not recommended to pregnant women or to individuals allergic to rivaroxaban.

Side effects of Xarelto 2.5 MG

Uncontrolled blood loss in case of an injury.
Anaemia.
Nausea and light headedness.
Bleeding gums.
Nosebleeds.
Stool of dark colour.

How Does It Work?
Xarelto 2.5mg Tab 14’S composition includes a coating of rivaroxaban, which acts on the factor Xa blocking and limiting the formation of thrombus. Limited production of thrombin results in the low conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin, which forms the meshwork required for clotting.
